All writers deserve respect, close reading, and thoughtful feedback — and we aim to provide it.
We founded the Madison Writers’ Studio in 2013 with the goal of bringing MFA-level writing instruction to an intimate workshop setting.
Our workshops are casual yet challenging, held in the homes of our passionate, experienced, and widely published instructors. We pledge to approach every writer's work with kindness, humor, and honesty.
